Starting with V3, PresSTORE supports extended file attributes on Linux and, as a consequence, is able to properly save and restore additional user rights of the files managed by the Novell Storage Services on Linux.
As stated by Novell, the following are prerequisites on Linux side:
- Suse Linux Enterprise Server 9 / Open Enterprise Server 1 SP2, (kernel 282 (2.6.5-7.282)).
- Installed patches:
- km-nss-4.9.26-0.1.i586.rpm
- novell-nss-4.9.23-1.i586.rpm
- novell-sms-zapishim-2.6.5_7.282-1.0.5.i586.rpm
