Solution In order to set up the drive cleaning, select the jukebox manager and double click the jukebox. On the General Setup page there is a section Drive Cleaning. Enter the slot number where the cleaning tape is placed, how many cleaning cycles are allowed for the particular cleaning tape and, if applicable, how many cleaning cycles the tape already had before.

Next is to find out which drive is due for cleaning. In order to set a drive to cleaning required, select the drive from the Drive Manager. On the General Setup page there is a section Attention. Select Yes in case the drive requires cleaning, No if not.

Note that some tape drives report that a drive requires cleaning (e.g. many DLT drives report that while most AIT drives don't). In case the drive does report that it requires cleaning, this flag is set automatically. Drives that are flagged with Cleaning required are not used in PresSTORE until they are automatically cleaned, or manually cleaned and the flag manually reset.
